Old school hospitality meets modern workplace

T.O.M.S Place is a shared office and coworking space in one of Brunswick’s most iconic heritage buildings. We were lucky enough to be engaged by the building developer/owners the day they received the keys for this former 1930’s market place. And we were lucky enough for our clients to be supportive, open-minded and all-in on our shared-vision for T.O.M.S Place.

This allowed us to create a brand inspired by the history of the building and embed it in the DNA of the entire project. From the logo to the styling to the hospitality of our Community Managers - every detail speaks T.O.M.S Place. Even the name we came up with gives a nod to its heritage (The.Old.Market.Space), and the previous owner was a local legend named Tom.

The brand we created is genuine in its character, using a colour palette and shapes from the building. Our concept is a modern-take on a 1930’s provisions shop feel with supportive illustrative and pattern elements to create interest and layering of the place’s narrative.

We brought the brand to life through marketing collateral, the website, wayfinding and signage, and styling. We continue to embody the brand through Community Management and ongoing marketing.
